Hi There!

When we were at Disney, we splurged on the Photopass CD....the only souvenir we bought and the best money we spent!  Take, for instance, this picture!  Look at the precious expression on my daughter's face.  So sweet and innocent like she really is holding Tink in her hand.  The truth is, though, this is one of the extra magic pictures - they added Tink in after they took the picture!  Loved the idea of this!

Party Girl

I used the Studio Calico Sunday Sketch for this page.  I really actually flipped the sketch, but I love how it turned out.  I've had all of these scraps of October Afternoon paper that I got at a CK convention in Louisiville this spring.  I just couldn't throw them away!  They were just perfect for this mostly monochromatic page.
The clouds I found at Michael's by Pebbles.  The black tape is Creative Memories.

Pluto

I don't know what it is about this page, but I just love how it turned out.  I saw a grid style layout in a magazine using squares.  I had this circle shaped stamp from Studio Calico close by, so I just used several of my scraps from my Studio Calico kits and put this together.
The main kit I used was the Studio Calico Handmade kit.

Dreams do Come True

Going to Disney this time really was a dream come true for our daughter.  She just loved getting to see all of the characters!  Here she is with Donald and Daisy.

Gawrsh!

Another character....another page.  I'm trying to combine as many of these as possible!  I hate to leave these out, because my daughter adores all of these characters, and this is what our entire trip to Disney consisted of!  Trips to see characters, interspersed with parades and rides!  I know this stage will pass, so I figure I'd best get it on paper soon.

Here she is with Goofy, so I thought, what better title for this page than, Gawrsh!
I looked at a layout in a Stampin' Up mini catalogue for the basic layout sketch.  Of course, I switched it up and didn't really stamp on this page, but I liked the simplicity of the sketch.

I used the Glee Club kit for the paper and tape.  I added some Pool Party paper and a big Pool Party button filled with a punch of the patterned paper.  I used one of the pennants from the Lawn Party kit for a little flare and decided that was enough for this page!

Sketchy Thursday for Minnie

I found another sketch at Sketchy Thursdays that I liked.  And if you can believe it, I actually got 3 layouts done this week!  I know....don't pass out....that hasn't happened in a while!   It has been my reward for cleaning house and doing laundry.   It's a good reward, don't you think?!
Anyway, for this layout, I used mostly pieces from the Field Guide kit from Studio Calico.  I added some red vintage buttons, a little heart card from a previous kit, and some thickers for the title.  In the bottom corner is a new exclusive Mr. Huey called Holly Berry (I think) that came with the December Daily album.  I used screen that may have been Tattered Angels, but I'm not sure (I threw the packaging away....).

Absolutely Adorable!

I just adore this picture of my daughter rubbing noses with Mickey at WDW!  It is just so darling, so I really wanted to focus to be on the picture and not a lot of other stuff on it.  I found some great papers in the Handmade kit from Studio Calico recently - they were perfect Disney colors!  All I added was a little bit of black rhinestones, a flower that I spritzed with Lemonade Mr. Huey, and a title.  I used an American Crafts chalk piece for the word absolutely and I think the letters are Pink Paislee.  The adorable flag sticker is Basic Grey.

Sketchy Thursday

I found this sketch over at Sketchy Thursday and decided to give it a try with a few pics I had.  The journaling here says, "I never though we would end up with so many pictures of just us at WDW, but I'm definitely grateful for it!"
We ended up pre-ordering a Photopass CD before we spent a week at the parks - that was the only souvenir we bought.  And it was well worth it!  If you're going to go and you want to scrapbook pictures, this is definitely the way to go.  We ended up with close to 400 pictures in the end on our CD!  Believe me, they are MUCH better than the pictures I usually take!  Plus, our daughter would either fall asleep or just be tired and distracted, so my husband and I got several pictures of just the two of us.  If you are like us, this is unfortunately a rare occasion after you have kids!  For that alone, it was well worth it!  :)
Almost all of the supplies on this page are from the Countryside Line by Studio Calico.  I believe the title sticker is from Basic Grey, and the ribbon is SU.

Fun for All

Well, sorry for the blurry picture.  Sometimes they look better on the camera screen than they do on the computer!  Anyway, I loved this picture of us at DisneyWorld in front of the Magic Kingdom.  I found this title piece and thought it was just the perfect title for this page, too!
Here's a flower I made from a Pink Paislee border piece.  I spritzed it with Lemonade Mr. Huey and wrapped it around and around on a huge gluber!  I loved the soft flower that it made.  I hid the center with a brad.  Not too much work in this one.  I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursday, I just switched it up a bit.

Crazy for you

Don't pass out!  I actually got a layout made this week!  I used my recent Studio Calico kit to make this layout.  It all came together pretty easily.  I just used the sunburst for my base and left the polka dot strip on the side.  I kind of liked the color.  I used the strip that I cut off to make a little pennant for the title.
I added a few sassafrass lass butterflies and some colored pearls to flutter off the page.  The rub-on is an old SU rub-on.  The journaling is inside the envelope.
