Sketches in Thyme #70 - double pager

I love it when I find 2-page layouts, so this was a really great 2-page sketch I've been eyeing for a few days now.  I just couldn't decide on paper to use for my layout.  I knew I wanted red or blue to highlight the colors....I just had to wait for it.  I finally decided on this Cosmo Cricket paper that has been in my stash for a while.  I decided to added the chevron material (Amy Tan for AC) and cut the bottom row of chevrons along the edges.
The left side had several little circles that I debated using scallop circles for.....but then I had a bright idea.  I have been hoarding this red die cut Studio Calico paper for quite a while - I decided it was perfect for that edge on the left!
I finished it off with several kraft chipboard shapes I recently bought from Archivers - I believe it is My Mind's Eye.  I topped it off with Smooch top coat and a few red rhinestones.

  1. What a great take on our 2-pager! I LOVE that Tiffany is doing this now, too! I'm finally getting all my pics scrapped. LOL! And your colors work brilliantly to really highlight your photographs! Thanks so much for playing along with us this month at Sketches in Thyme!
